WATCH ‘N WIN games are lottery games that give you two chances to win. Watch the gameplay screen in-store for a chance to win instantly, and keep your ticket for the nightly draw. Watch and see how it’s done.

WATCH ‘N WIN games are instant win and lottery-based draw games. Choose from POKER LOTTO, MEGADICE LOTTO and POWERBUCKS WHEEL OF FORTUNE® RUBY RICHES® LOTTO. Each game has its own way to play, but the game structure is the same. Players have a chance to win instantly, or match the words or numbers on their ticket to those in the nightly draw for a second chance to win.

How instant win games work

Every WATCH ‘N WIN terminal has a computer chip inside called a Random Number Generator (RNG). The RNG makes thousands of mathematical calculations every second that determine the outcome of the instant win game. These calculations are happening even when the terminal isn’t in use. When the game is activated, the RNG freezes on a set of numbers that determine the outcome on the WATCH ‘N WIN screen.

    Check the nightly draw. Don’t miss out on a second chance to win. Checking your ticket is easy: you can do it at the retailer, online at olg.ca, or using the OLG App.

    Claim your prize. If you’re a winner, be sure to sign your ticket and claim your prize! Prizes expire 12 months from the draw date.

Once you’ve asked for your ticket, watch the animation play out on the screen to find out if you’re an instant winner. There are no buttons to push, no bets to make, no wheels to spin. Whether you win or lose, remember to hang on to your ticket for a second chance to win in the nightly draw.

4. Check the nightly draw

Every WATCH ‘N WIN ticket features either a series of numbers or symbols. Match all or some of your numbers or symbols to those drawn during the nightly draw to win. You can check your ticket any time in the following 3 ways:

  • Use the ticket checker at an OLG retailer. Be sure to sign your ticket first.
  • Download the OLG App and scan your ticket barcode to see if it’s a winner.
  • View the winning numbers by game online at OLG.ca

Tip

Nightly draws occur after 10:30 pm each day.

5. Claim your prize

To claim any prize less than $1,000, visit a participating OLG retailer to validate your winning ticket. For complete details about claiming prizes, visit olg.ca

TIP

Winning tickets expire 12 months after the draw date, so be sure to visit a retailer within 12 months of the draw date in order to validate or claim your prize.

Prize Details

Prizes vary from winning an instant prize up to $1 Million or more or a nightly draw up to $100,000.

  • POKER LOTTO players can win from $2 to $5,000 instantly, and from $5 to $100,000 in the nightly draw.
  • MEGADICE LOTTO players can win from $2 to $7,500 instantly, and from $3 to $100,000 in the nightly draw.
  • POWERBUCKS WHEEL OF FORTUNE® RUBY RICHES® players can win from $3 to $1 Million or more instantly, or from $3 to $100,000 in the nightly draw.
